真的.我並沒有很高興

自從知道我的下一站是美國後,真的,我並沒有很高興.
WHY?
問題不出於美國,它本身是一個一流的國家.誰沒聽過ivy league中的八大成員?
harvard,princeton,cornell,brown,columbia,dartmouth,yale,pennsylvania
一旦進入任何一所我的前途就絲毫不用愁了.
爸爸媽媽大姊二姊bro&yen都很興奮,還有很多人替我感到高興,幸運.
誠心誠意或虛情假意的'恭喜',我已不會分,也不想分.
有些字眼,我真的很討厭,簡直讓人反感.
我不會被一切冲昏了頭,因為人始終要向現實低頭.
ivy league的程度不是開玩笑的.sat更不是容易讀的科目,還得考satII. =.="
究竟為何不高興?
真正的原因,還是留給自己吧.

現在的我應該是開心輿知足的.但真的,我開心不起來.
要煩要愁的往往來得比較多.
我不是在'少年不识愁滋味,為賦新詞強說愁'.
一個人大老遠的要離鄉背井四年.我真的很難想像孤苦零丁,一個人打拼的生活.
這四年裡可以改變一切..一切..

或許我該學會放下、放開.
是時候將心中那一扇門打開,
因為一切將成為最難忘的回憶.
開啟那扇門的密碼,亦只有我知道.
至於下一次去觸碰它會是何年何月何日,
我也不曉得..

yo~my 1st post in blogger, the two bellow were transferred from previous blog.

actually blogger has nvr been my 1st choice of blog until i found out
1. i actually alrdy have TWO registered yet inactive blogs in blogger. =.="
2. blogger has direct link to google which is my favourite browser ever.
3. pixnet and wretch are too strange to Malaysians, only the chinese/taiwanese are more familiar with it

I usually dont blog everyday, unless i have the time n mood as 'blogging depends on mood'.

One Among Two Thousand - How did I get JPA PILN Scholarship?

1. Fulfill the basic qualifications set by JPA which are at least
i. A2 for BM, PM, and SEJ
ii. 9As
iii. A2 for certain subjects (depends on the course u apply)
** I got 7A1,3A2,1B3(EST)

2. Filling the form WISELY where
i. Be honest of every single detail as JPA can easily find out the real ones
ii. Be smart when choosing course (medic is the easiest to get; if don have confidence with ur result & kk to get HOT courses like pharmacy, engineering, actuarial science etc, choose less popular ones, at least u'll have higher chance)

** I filled the real figure of my family income as no point to cheat.
** because of my erjie's words and the most importantly - God's will, i chose AGRICULTURAL SCIENCE which i totally DIDN'T know wad it is.

3. You MUST be very active in CO-CURRICULUM otherwise u WON'T EVEN shortlisted for interview no matter how excellent ur SPM result is.
** During F4&F5, i used to be

``Sub-Editor of Sch Mag (F4)
``Treasurer of Scout Troop
``Secretary of Badminton Club
``Journalist of a local newspaper/Chinese Club

``Champion n 1st runner-up for sch badminton competition(WS) '06,'07
``1st Aid Certificate
``Bomba Certificate
``2nd runner-up in 18th Scout District Camp

4. During interview
i. formal attire (girls pls wear as attractive as possible. however, not in the sense of SEXY; Guys..iron ur shirts and use tie please.)
ii. PREPARE all your certs and forms required WELL and NEAT
iii. IMPRESSED the interviewer as much as u can
iv. It would be BETTER for u to get DEBATE session as that's the time the interviewer really mark u for the other 30%. (during d interview everyone already has 70% in hands)
v. SHAKE HANDS with the interviewers after the interview.
**6 of us, 2 absent. evry1 was given the chance to say abt our background and the course we're applying for. FLUENT English is a bonus.
**I think I'd impressed the interviewer during the debate session(could use either BM/ENG) as he smiled broadly when i gv my point. =.=" (i used to be trained as debater)
**Another impression came frm my ATTIRE. haha. although i'm fat but..i wore neat and.. hehe

5. Pray hardly. If it's urs, then u'll get it.
**I got it.
**REASON? as stated above and God's WILL.

Lastly, i didnt mean to show-off by listing all my titles and achievements. just to give a clearer view on how to become a JPA SCHOLAR. I wont mind if u said i'm lucky to get JPA Scholarship because I'm just VERY MIND.

One Among Two Thousand - 1st nite

10.05.2008 (saturday)

my laptop was possessed by ahyen. reason? she wanted to check the JPA overseas scholarship result which she very concerned with, always.

it was too hot, so we went downstairs. the esila page was overloaded since 2330. yen started grumbling while i continued watching transformers(yea i know,I'm outdated) without bothering much abt the result coz i din expect much frm it as i only hold 11% chances to go overseas.

yen: who check 1st?
mei: since u're waiting frm 2330, u check 1st.
yen: ok. check mine 1st.
mei: (continue watching transformers, wad a nice movie!)
yen: so lagging! hw to check!
mei: really? it's like tht one.
yen: i'm so nervous!
mei: u're expecting something unexpected, don't u? come on, chances are low,ok?
yen: i knw..but at least either of us got it papa mama will have reduced financial burden.
mei: yea..true..i don have confidence at all..

11.05.2008 (sunday)
time: 0000
i'd finished watching transformers. everyone went to bed alrdy. left the two of us in living room.
mei: got alrdy?
yen: no..still cannot.
mei: keep refreshing the page.
yen: i do but it's overloaded.
mei: so late alrdy..minimise ur song volume..ppl are sleeping.
yen: oo

suddenly..

yen: mei! i get into my page lor!
mei: so, how??
yen: argh~ i din get it ar.. 'dukacita...'
mei: omg. dn feel sad lar. only a few are selected.
yen: i knw but i wanted it so much.
mei: hw abt mine? can alrdy?
yen: no. urs n siangleng's one still loading. hwever, i can appeal for my failure.
mei: owh. ok. let's go upstairs ready for bed.
yen: owh~

inside the room..

mei: hey, i wan to sleep alrdy, tell me my result once u got into my page.
yen: u dn wan to see ur result 1st meh? are u sure u can sleep at this time?
mei: aiya..wadeva la, nt easy to get it.
yen: don lie la, i knw u're very concerned abt it too.
mei: haha..i do but so wad? it's too diff to get.gd9

ahyen then came to chit-chat with me by my bedside abt her NS experiences while leaving the pages to run themselves. we craped a lot non-sense.

mei: okla, i wan to sleep alrdy. go check the pages if dn have check tmr lar.very late alrdy
yen: oh ya! shud be done alrdy.
mei: (closed my eyes, ready to meet mr.zhou)
yen: ah mei! got lor! but failed.
mei: wad?!
yen: siangleng failed but.. u got it ar! ah mei u got it ar!!
mei: (jumped out frm the matress) wad?! are u sure or not??! (rushed to the laptop)
yen: yea! u really got it! i alrdy said either of us will get it! see! it's god's will!
mei: omg..!! why me?!! i got wad?
yen: agricultural science.
mei: huh? why nt law?! ?.?
yen: dn knw..
mei: omg.. wadeva..i'm too glad!! (keep screaming/shouting/jumping)
yen: so good..i'm so jealous of u while disappointed of my own result.sob*
mei: aiyo.. dn like tht pls.
yen: i wanted pharmacy overseas so much..sob*

then i quickly called mama(although it was 2.30am), she answered my call! haha.

mei: ma! i got JPA scholarship ar!! it's agricultural science!!
mom: really??! wow!! congratulations! so good! how abt ah yen?
mei: she din get it.
mom: she must be very sad lor. nvm lar.
mei: ma! it's my best mothers' day present for u! haha!
mom: yea..haha..
mei: emm. oklo. continue sleeping. hehe. happy mothers' day!
mom: emm.thank u, bye!

aftertht yen n i had a prayer session. we really thanks god for answering our prayers. we prayed for yen's success in her appeal too.

i text to everyone, papa,mama,dajie,erjie n koko the following
"could u believe?! LOH MEI SAN got JPA! Sains pertanian!!"
